Hermosa Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade and Block Party

Please join The Los Angeles Police Emerald Society, Emerald Society Honor Guard and Emerald Society Pipes and Drums on March 24, 2012 at 11:00 am at The Hermosa Beach St. Patrick's Day Parade and Block Party.

Church celebrates St. Patrick's life of holiness on March 17

The Irish Memorial is located at the southeast corner of Front and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia. It is dedicated to the memory of more than one million innocent men, women and children who perished during the years 1845 to 1850 and to the millions of Irish immigrants who found here in the United States of America the freedom, liberty and prosperity denied to their ancestors in Ireland.

Officer Ian Campbell Ceremony at Hollywood Station

March 9th marks the 49th anniversary when Officer's Ian Campbell and Karl Hettinger were kidnapped from Carlos and Gower in Hollywood Division and taken to a deserted Onion Field south of Bakersfield. Ian Campbell was subsequently executed. Karl Hettinger managed to escape with his life.

At Hollywood Station on Friday, March 9th at 1700 hours the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Emerald Society (LAPES) Pipes and Drums will hold a small ceremony to commemorate Officer Campbell.
