Kim Braden announced that Emerald Society member Santa Tim will be joining the Society at the Ronald McDonald House in South Pasadena to present toys and pop tops on Wednesday, December 8th at 1900 Hrs.

A hearty thanks those of you who saved and donated the pop tops and Kim for coordinating this very special event. And of course, a big thank you to Santa Tim who brings Christmas magic to youngsters and their families facing some tough times and treatment for some serious medical conditions.

USMC Staff Sgt. & LAPD Officer JOSHUA J. CULLINS arrives at Los Angeles International Airport. The Los Angeles Police Emerald Society Pipe and Drum Band, Marine Corps, LAPD representatives and numerous law enforcement agency bomb squad members joined the family plane side.

NCLEES Fall Conference

At last night's Emerald Society meeting LAPES President Steve Saletros reminded our membership, Society members are welcome to attend the NCLEES Fall Conference in San Diego beginning Thursday, November 4th thru Saturday, November 6th.

Additionally, Pipe Major Scott Walton reminded us that our Band will be performing at several of the events. That alone is worth the trip to San Diego.
